Internal energy and temperature

Internal energy is the sum of the random kinetic and potential energies of particles. Temperature (in kelvin) is proportional to the average kinetic energy of particles. T(K)=θ(°C)+273T(\text{K}) = \theta(°C) + 273T(K)=θ(°C)+273.
