Health is a state of physical and mental wellbeing; many diseases are caused by pathogens.

Pathogens

Microorganisms that cause disease: bacteria (e.g. cholera), viruses (e.g. influenza), fungi and protists (e.g. malaria). They spread by air, water, food, contact or vectors (e.g. mosquitoes).
