Communication passes information between people/businesses.

  • Internal (within a business) vs external (with customers/suppliers).
  • Methods: verbal (phone, meetings), written (letters, email), and electronic (internet, video calls, social media).

Choose by speed, cost, distance, need for a record and audience. Barriers include poor signal, jargon and language differences.
