Functions of a warehouse
A warehouse stores goods between production and sale. Functions:
- Storage — holds stock until needed.
- Regulating supply — evens out seasonal production/demand.
- Protection — keeps goods safe and in good condition.
- Breaking bulk and preparing goods for distribution.
