A reversible reaction can go both forwards and backwards, shown by ⇌\rightleftharpoons⇌. Example: hydrated copper(II) sulfate ⇌\rightleftharpoons⇌ anhydrous copper(II) sulfate + water (blue ⇌\rightleftharpoons⇌ white).
