Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep our use minimal, don't use advertising trackers, and only load analytics cookies if you accept them. Here's exactly what we set and why.
1.Essential cookies
Required for the site to work, keeping you logged in, remembering your session and securing forms. These can't be turned off without breaking core features.
2.Preference cookies
Remember choices like your currency, dark/light appearance and which qualification you last browsed, so the site feels consistent on your next visit.
3.Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you choose “Accept all” on our cookie banner, we load two analytics tools that help us see how the product is used and fix problems: PostHog (product analytics and session replay, hosted in the EU) and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and anonymised session recordings). They don’t profile you across other sites, aren’t used for advertising, and never load at all if you choose “Essential only”. Separately, we run a small amount of first-party analytics that is aggregated and doesn’t use cookies.
4.Managing cookies
You can accept or decline analytics cookies from the banner when you first visit, change your choice any time from Settings → Privacy & data, and clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop login from working.
5.Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we rely on, for example Stripe during checkout, and, with your consent, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity for analytics. These are governed by their own privacy policies.
